In the perfect rural location our cottages are an ideal base for exploring the Dales. Bramble and Buttercup cottages are within (one mile) walking distance of the historic village of Ripley, a ten minute drive from Harrogate.

 

The area is a haven for birdwatchers – red kites, lapwings and curlews are frequent visitors to our fields. Bramble Cottage has a double bedroom whilst Buttercup cottage has a double ensuite bedroom with a single bedroom and house bathroom. Both cottages have a sitting/dining room with flat screen TVs, DVD players etc. Both have well equipped kitchens and with under floor heating you are assured of a comfortable stay at any time of year. Also unlimited Wi-fi.

Having recently restored our field pond to it’s former glory we now have ten very entertaining ducks! They are Indian runner ducks, black and white and characters in their own right. Great for slowing the traffic on the lane as I think they see you coming and want to cross the road!
