What a beautiful summer we've had! Even though we had a hosepipe ban - and still have one - the dry weather was a treat. One day, in late summer, we went up to the top of Nidderdale to see the reservoirs, Scar and Angram. They were low enough to see the village that they had flooded when the reservoirs' were built. Certainly worth the trip as that doesn't happen very often-fortunately.

The major event of the year was the arrival of our latest Granddaughter in New Zealand. We like girls in our family, that's our 4th granddaughter out of 4 grandchildren. Baby Juno of course had to have a visit from her Nana, so that's where I've been in October.

Keith stayed at home this time as the backend is his busy time with his hedgecutting. It's always really hard to leave them down-under and come home but fortunately I do like home.
